Temporary Shipment Suspension (U.S.A.)

Effective as of August 25th, 2025

Due to recent changes in U.S. import regulations, we will no longer be able to ship any orders to the United States.

Why can’t you ship to the USA anymore?

As of 2025, the U.S. government has ended the de minimis exemption. The de minimis exemption was a rule that allowed low-value international shipments (under $800 USD) to enter the country without incurring duties, taxes, or a formal customs clearance and declaration.

Without this exemption:

  • ALL shipments must be processed through US customs when arriving from a foreign country. We are located in Vancouver, Canada.

  • Import duties, taxes, and fees must be collected at the time of purchase.

  • The compliance and reporting requirements will significantly increase costs (By an average of 30-40%) and also make processing times much, much longer.

As a small business, the combination of all of these changes have made it unfeasible to continue to offer shipping to the U.S. at a reasonable cost, or with a reliable service.

What does this mean for U.S. customers?

  • We are not accepting any packages with U.S. shipping addresses at this time.

  • We will notify all affected customers directly regarding any cancellations or refunds due to this change.

Do y’all plan to offer shipping to the U.S. in the future?

We are keeping ourselves up to date on all available information as it comes out about this situation. The current dumbass who for some reason is the president of the United States changes his mind every other day, so we are actively working on multiple solutions at a time if the current landscape changes.

I’d still pay the duties/tariffs though. Why can’t I order and you just charge me for those costs?

While we’d love for it to be that simple, the elimination of the de minimis exemption not only increases costs and logistics but fundamentally shifts the way that global trade works as a whole. It’s generally agreed upon that giants like Temu and Shein are overall harmful to us as a whole by providing cheap, oftentimes unreliable and dangerous products. But the action to end the de minimis exemption is an oversimplification of that problem where millions of small businesses will feel the effects of this change.

For us, it’s not as simple. Living near the USA border, we have used a logistics company that allows us to utilize USPS from WITHIN Canada - So our U.S. customers have never had to pay duties/tariffs on our items nor dealt with a formal customs clearance. That all has changed now, and our logistics company does not have framework in place for this new ruleset.

It would take probably 20 pages to properly explain the logistics chain, but right now it is not feasible for us to continue shipping to the U.S. at this time.
